    Great enhancement request! You are certainly not alone in wanting this, and we agree that it would save everyone time when running reports. This is currently in discovery and on the roadmap with our reporting team. No timelines specifically at this time, though as soon as we have a definitive time for delivery we'll be sure to update the Product News area of the Community.

    Hello! We have been diving into the integration between Zoom and Cvent.  We have had issues with a difference of registrations between the two platforms. As I understand, our integration is customized and I would love to know the timeline for customized solutions reporting. I have heard that there is a plan to release reports for custom solutions in the first half of 2025.

    Hi Virginia, 

    In terms of reporting updates - we are working on cross-event insights that allow customers to compare data across various data, including registration trends, budgets, feedback, and more.

    Any plans to update reporting capabilities for integrations or otherwise will be something we'll definitely update when timelines for delivery are planned in the roadmap section of Cvent Event Management Product News. I'll be sure to pass along this use case to the team overseeing discovery in this space.

    Access Portal - any enhancements on the roadmap?  We relied on Cvent users also being portal guests and would like to get that flexibility back.

    Hi Hallie,

    Totally fair feedback about relying on that flexibility. Our teams are in the process of planning for Q2 and beyond, and once timelines are a bit more clear on things that are in active discovery, planned for development, or in active development, the roadmap for Access Portals will be updated. I'll ask that our Product Managers in this space take a look to ensure everything is up to date as far as what's coming! Follow along there for news of what will come next. 

    In the meantime, please be sure to provide this in the Ideas area of the community, as Product Managers we regularly review that space and see the ideas that people are "up voting" or engaging with to weigh into our discovery processes.

    Request from a Power User - when viewing budgets and setting custom view "My View" have the ability to control how many lines of data are displayed and save that as a setting.

    Currently, it is similar to the Access Portal display in that a user must manually switch the number of lines displayed by using a dropdown to expand the displayed content and repeating the action every time they navigate back to the summary view or my view.

    The current limit is 150 custom fields and there is no exception to have it increased. For bigger organizations this limit is reached with in few years . I would suggest at least 300 to be the new limit with ability to increase if needed. Our account manager  is  aware of this use case.

    Major niche dream: Do you see any potential for a way to bulk upload speaker photos in the future as an admin? 

    A super small and specific question but it's been plaguing us for some time: When do you see Tags/Tracks/Labels being visible in the mobile app version of Attendee Hub? They show on the web version but not the mobile. (For example, on Cvent Connect agendas: Lunch/Meal, session category and focus labels.)

    Hi Chris,

    Love the niche dream!

    More efficient speaker management is definitely a thing we are starting this year - focusing first on a few key areas: "I need to know if my speakers are registered for the event," and "How can we make speaker photo management much more enjoyable," "How can we make the upload process better," and "How can we make it easier to download speaker photos for use onsite," among others. While bulk upload of Speaker photos might be a ways away, it's not out of the question for the future. 

    For your second question, we currently show this information on the detail page in the app. We chose not to show those details on the session list due to the smaller screen size of the app. When working with limited real estate, we have to be more intentional with the session details shown. If browsing sessions by Categories is important to your attendee base, you could consider leveraging Session Guides to arrange your agenda. We are looking at options to allow you to control what shows on your session lists, but we don't have concrete timelines on that work at this time.     Are there any plans to update the admin side of the hotel reservation system? To be able to view hotel confirmation numbers directly on a person's registration record or even on the Manage Hotel Requests page (without going into edit mode) would be so helpful.   In addition, the ability to note "no booking is needed" as a field to allow confirmation emails of this choice.

    We do have plans to display the hotel confirmation number on the registrant's record, when we have a specific timeline for this we'll update the roadmap area of Cvent Event Management Product News. As far as the option to use "no hotel booking needed" to send emails, we will be adding travel filters to audience segments which you can use to filter the attendee list and send emails, so this should help!

    There were a few questions during the QPU that we didn't have time to address. Here are the answers to 2 questions we've tracked down so far:

    For Speakers, can there be a way to update all at one time within Cvent, like the view of Sessions?  
    More efficient speaker management is definitely a thing. we are starting this year. Discovery and explorations in the way of which aspects of updating or editing a speaker need to be optimized the most - including speaker photos. While there aren't plans for a bulk edit mechanism, discovery into a solution for the ability to upload to modify is underway as well.

    Will the Invite a colleague feature from classic ever be available in flex (now known as Event)?
     We have two options in registration right now for this workflow:

    • "Register a friend" which is a widget that can be added to the confirmation page for when attendees complete their own and would like to initiate registration for another person.
    • Invitation Forwarding is also able to be utilized in the registration form to send invitations to others.

    We have community articles for both, and your account team should be able to help you make a call about strategically which option best aligns.

    Some of the data tags like {[C-ORDER SUMMARY]} create tables too big for emails. Will any of the tables be able to be adjusted?

    The better option for displaying order information for attendees in emails is the Order Details widget. Often times it is better for us to create a widget that correlates to the look and feel, styling options, and hierarchy that attendees grow used to in the registration experience which we can better control, than it is data tag tables.

    We would love to hear more about your preference for the Order Summary data tag in the ideas area of the Community to better assist in active discovery in the emails space.
