    During the Quarterly Product Update webinar, one of the presenters talked about Layouts on the roadmap.  This sounds like the exact feature that I've been hoping for in the last few weeks as I define website theming and structure across my company's events, which are created by multiple different administrators.  I'd love to hear more about this new feature!

    We are focused on multiple AI efforts at this time on both the Event Organizer/ Setup side for your events, emails, descriptions, and even actions you may need to complete, and the Attendee-facing side of your events to assist them in navigating the event and provide a more personalized experience. We are evaluating these and all other potential ways in which this technology can solve problems that exist. As these solutions move further into development stages, and timelines are a bit more clear, we'll be sure to post these exciting updates in the Roadmap of the Event Marketing & Management area in the Cvent Community for anyone interested to subscribe. 

    We know that AI is a huge deal in saving you time and your attendees as well. So, we're very excited to bring more solutions for this to Cventers soon enough!

    At our user conference, many of our customers are also speak during a session presentation - presenting the customers perspective. Can I connect a speaker to an attendee profile? In other words, let people click on the speaker in a session and view the appropriate attendee profile?

    Hi Jon, thanks for your question.

    We've definitely heard this ask before from many customers. We're currently researching the core problems behind this ask to ensure we come up with the best solution(s) to solve these problems. 

    One of the problems we've heard is that planners would like to know which of their speakers have actually registered for the event, so creating that relationship to a registrant to a speaker would make that clear. 

    Another problem is around speakers schedules. Right now a speakers personal agenda does not include their sessions they are speaking at. Once we connect a speaker to an attendee, then we can automatically add their speaking sessions to their personal agendas. 

    The exact solutions and specific designs around these solutions still need some time so we're really hoping we can address these problems by early next year. 

    Please be on the lookout in in the Product News Roadmap for any updates around this subject so you can stay on top of updates as we get closer to releasing a solution.

    Are there any plans to update the Speaker Resource Center log-in process to make it similar to the new Attendee Hub login updates (i.e. customize logout periods, two factor authentication via mobile and email, etc.).

    Yes, we are looking at this to improve the consistency of the user experience across the platform. There may also be security advantages to making this update. We are not sure of the timing yet, but it is definitely something we are evaluating.     Can you please make the email designer work like the web designer the registration site uses? Ex. We should be able to duplicate the text or whatever content we want to another path's template versus having to back out and hit copy content on the specific email per path.

We are continuously evaluating what would be best to show during each status of the event for the registration overview, and potentially future versions of these landing pages focused on other jobs like promotion, engagement, etc. I'll pass this onto our teams as we evaluate the best place to show those details at a glance and continue making it easier to understand the event setup without digging into multiple layers.

    Hi Britttany - Thanks for the question!  I was able to track this information down from our Product team:  The FreedomPay integration itself is available for ANY hotel which utilizes FreedomPay as their credit card tokenization & Payment Processing solution. However, the ability to send those tokens to the hotel's PMS or CRS is currently limited, but we are adding support for new PMS and CRS systems every quarter.  Hopefully, this answers your question, or reach out to your account team, and they can advise about specific account availability.

    Great questions! The first release of Audience Segments as Event Email Recipients will not include the ability to filter the audience for the Invitation email specifically, though you may use them as a filtering mechanism for the audience of emails you create based on Attendee Status instead. I'll pass this along to the team working on this for consideration in the next phase.

    Widget Visibility Logic based on Audience Segment for Registration and Event Websites will precede development for Page Visibility, and is currently in consideration for Q4 tentatively. Please subscribe to the updates in the Cvent Community Event Marketing & Management news for the latest timelines.

    I hear versions of this question often, and typically the request is so that emails can be shared across events much easier without having to recreate them. I'd be curious to hear if this is how you use Admin email templates, or if you're craving the usability factor of the email designer in events which does have a more intuitive user experience? Either way, we are evaluating ways of allowing for emails to be used across events, and reduce the need to recreate the same content over and over which is great news! Admin level experiences mirroring event ones or better templatizing options for various things are also things on our radar, but more in a discussion phase at the moment. Please feel free to share more about your use case, I would love to hear if this speaks to your need or if you're thinking something else.

    Hello,

    I think I might be looking for both things.  I have emails that I use across similar types of events, which live in the event templates.  That works very well.  However, I also have emails that live in every event I create (for example, a Payment Due email that automatically sends one week prior to the event to any attendee with a balance due), that I would love to create as a template in the Admin area so I can use it in any event.  This would also enable the other Admins in my account to use the same email in their events, maintaining consistency across my company.

    It would also be nice to create some base templates for emails that I could create in the Admin area and then import into individual events and edit from there to be more event-specific.  Since the designer is so drastically different between the Admin and Event areas, though, I haven't even attempted to do this.  In this situation, I would want the template to import the structure such as text, widgets, dividers, spacers, etc. but apply the current event's theme to the template email such as header/footer, colors, fonts, etc.  I would find this most useful for my large user conference that happens once per year.  The events are usually different enough that I start the event from scratch each time, but I still want to be able to import emails from my Admin template library to start from just as I do invoices, receipts, and badges.

    And while I'm writing... +1 support for the idea to be able to duplicate sections or widgets from one event email to another event email within the email designer.

    We are facing a limitation with On-Demand video metrics, as they become unavailable after 90 days from the event start date. Given the ongoing nature of On-Demand content, this restriction significantly impacts our ability to track long-term engagement if we do not adjust the session dates. 

    Is there a way to extend the availability of these metrics beyond the 90-day period without manually adjusting session dates?

    Can you please add an area on Custom Account Tags or all tags that shows where they are currently used? A report would work too. This would help us determine which ones are unused so we can clean them up. Or it would show all areas where a change would occur if you make an edit to the tag.

    Report data tags - anyone can create them and no one, including an Admin, can delete them.  Please give control to Admins to manage report data tags, and limit user permissions.

    We are back with the follow-up answers to the Quarterly Product Update webinar questions.

    • When will the question library be available?
      • This is launching today, September 4.
    • Where can a user find more info on automatic calendar holds?
    • Will we be able to do multiple calendar holds for electives or just one per Cvent event? Also, will this work with all calendar platforms, i.e., Outlook, Google, etc.?
      • Cvent Webinar does not have the concept of multiple sessions so the calendar hold is for the entire Webinar. This calendar hold will work with calendars such as Outlook, Google, and iCal.
    • What is the accuracy rate of Closed Captioning for Webinar?
      • While we don't have any specific metrics to share regarding the accuracy rate of closed captioning because there is a dependency of the quality of the input received from the speaker, we're backed by AWS' Transcribe, one of the top transcription services available in the general market.
    • Regarding the roadmap items shared for surveys -- are those just for premium surveys?
      • Yes, for premium surveys.
