I am looking to create a communication journey for our current event attendees. Based on when they register for an event, there are event updates that they miss, for example there is an amazing person who has already registered for a Spring 2025, based on our current communication with attendees, they aren't going to hear about any agenda updates, keynote speakers or fun networking events we have planned, they will only hear from us right before the event with details on how to get the event app and then the post-event survey.
I would like to set up a current attendee communication journey and have people join the journey in the correct place based on when they registered:
Below is a VERY simple journey/example
Register >> Cvent Confirmation Email >> Keynote announcement >> Networking options >> Bring a colleague >> Hotel reminder >> Lunch & Learn RSVP >> Download the event app >> Onsite details >> Survey reminder >> on-demand content
-Attendee one registered the same week we open registration, so we need them to join the journey at the very beginning
-Attendee two registers after the agenda is announced so we need them to join at the Networking options
-Attendee three registers very late, so we need them to join the at Download the event app
All attendees, regardless of when they join the journey, they need to complete it in its entirety.
Is anyone else doing this type of drip campaign in Cvent? and if so...how?
