I'm so sorry. I went to respond to your message this morning and got sidetracked.
I'm glad you found a way. Of course, there are many like the internal information suggested, etc.

I think I came up with a solution.
The Conditional Image can be setup using the answer to a question. I added a question (Attendee is from an Exhibitor Company) to the Additional Information page on the registration paths. Hid the question. Then on the backend accessed the registration record and answered the question. Added the conditional color coded bar for Exhibitor to display for the question when the answer is "yes".
This resulted in having two bars on a badge for a registrant with a particular Admission Item who is from an exhibitor company. This is a manual process involving accessing each registrant record to answer the question unless I can import the answer for select registrants. I have a question into Cvent to answer this question. Thank you both for trying to help me.

We are printing badges before the event and then onsite for attendees. Attendees do not print their own badges.
I created the Registration Type, "Affiliate Exhibitor Attendee." I associated the Admissions Item, "Affiliate Member.' But it is not working. See the attached screenshots of the conditional bar coded images and a name badge. The name badge needs to show that the attendee is an Affiliate Member and Exhibitor. It only shows Affiliate Member (Ignore the PLRB Member bar). The only option to apply to the conditional color coding are Admission Item, Agenda Item or Optional Items if used.

Hi Bernadette,
If creating a new Registration Type "Affiliate Exhibitor Attendee" and then changing it for the applicable registrants is the answer, it would be ok. But if the Admission Item needs to be changed because of the badge conditional option, then changing the Admission Item would not work. This is what I'm thinking...create a registration type for Affliliate Exhibitor Attendee, when staff identify which registrants are from exhibitor companies, switch them to this registration type. Create the badge with the color code they should have by assigning that badge to the Affiliate Exhibitor Attendee registration type. Could that work? You would assign that registration type to the attendee path being used, this way after switching them to the registration type, their responses to anything being asked in that path don't get changed. Again, just a thought realizing this has not been tested. If you could test before doing what I'm thinking above, that would be great. Do you have the option to contact Cvent Support?

Debra,
Thank you for replying. Yes, attendees have Registration Types and Admissions Items. It is my understanding that the conditional images in the name badges are only generated using either Admissions Items, Sessions or Optional Items and not Registration Types.
Registrants would not know if their company was an exhibitor. So, staff would manually go through and indicate which registrants are from Exhibitor companies.
If creating a new Registration Type "Affiliate Exhibitor Attendee" and then changing it for the applicable registrants is the answer, it would be ok. But if the Admission Item needs to be changed because of the badge conditional option, then changing the Admission Item would not work.
If changing the Registration Type to "Affiliate Exhibitor Attendee" will work, I do not know how to do the custom logic for the color coded name badge. The badge needs to be color coded to recognize that the attendee is an Affiliate Member and from an Exhibitor Company.

Hi Bernadette,
Do you have registration types assigned to your attendees who are registering for your event? Could you assign a specific registration type of anyone registering from an exhibitor company so that you could identify the color you want to assign those registering from the exhibitor companies?
How are you determining which attendees are from exhibitor companies? Are you asking a registration question that asks if they are from an exhibiting company? If you are, you could then assign logic to the registration path of your attendees that would assign a registration type to those who respond "Yes" to that question and then assign a color badge to that assigned registration type.
I may not have enough information to give you a better suggestion.

Hello,
Does anyone have any suggestions about how to resolve the following issue:
We need to print attendee badges that are color coded according to indicate if the registrant is from an exhibitor company. The badges are color coded according to membership type but we want to also color code if the registrant is from an exhibitor company. We have thousands of attendees so using ribbons is not an option.
Thank you.
