Hello Jess,
The template of the badges and certificates (for receipt) can only be pulled using a data tag and unfortunately, data tags do not render on webpages. Hence, you cannot get it added to the Confirmation webpage. As an alternate, if you have created it as invoice under badges and certificates, you can add the data tag to the Confirmation email so each registrant have the option to download the PDF of their personalized receipt. Use the data-tag {[E-INVOICE LINK]}.
For attendees of different registration types to receive different confirmation email with different content, you can follow the steps below:
- Make the default Confirmation email inactive
- Create two custom confirmation emails, one with the Invoice data-tag and one without it
- Audience for both the emails should be Accepted Registrants
- Send this email: When an invitee registered
- Use the option for Filter audience: By Advanced Filters
- Field: Registration Type > Operator: Equals > Value: Paid registration type/Complimentary registration type
I hope this helps!

Subject: Button to Receipt on Confirmation Page
Hi all,
I have a receipt template set up in Badges & Certificates that I would like to somehow link to from the confirmation page of the registration site. I would much rather use the receipt I have set up in Badges & Certificates than use the Order Payment widget in an email because it matches the layout of paperwork generated by other branches of my company, so attendees get a consistent experience between purchasing training and event registrations and purchasing other things from us.
Another layer of complication for this event is that I have a single invitation list, but two different registration types with different registration paths - one with a fee associated with it and one without a fee. I don't want to include a receipt link in the registration email since all attendees are receiving the same registration confirmation email. Half the attendees would have a link to a blank document, which doesn't give the impression of a unique dedicated experience for each attendee. The confirmation page can be customized for the registration path with a fee to include that button, while leaving the button off of the confirmation page for the reg path without a fee.
Has anyone found a way to do this?
Thanks for your help!
