Hi Larry,
It sounds like this might be the first time that you have opened to Site Designer to make an edit. By default, the first time that you open the site designer the Quick Setup Theme Wizard will appear on the right-hand side. There should be a button at the bottom of that menu to Finish the setup wizard. Once you have closed that menu, you should be able to access the Build menu, which will allow you to customize the widgets in your site.
If you have already closed the Quick Setup Theme Wizard and are still having trouble, it's possible that your account does not have access to make changes to the site design. In that case, you will need to reach out to your administrator about altering your role permissions.
Hope this helps!

Subject: Can't edit textbox on registration confirmation page
I'm having trouble doing a simple text edit for a registration confirmation page (and other text edits on other pages). I follow the instructions: "From the left hand navigation, click Registration, then Registration Process. Click Customize next to the page you want to edit. Click on the text you want to change and additional options will appear to the right. Edit the text in the box under Field Label. Click Save to save your changes and continue editing, or Publish to make them available to attendees." But once the editable version of the confirmation page is displayed, clicking on the text to be changed does nothing to the options displayed on the right. The only options that appear are Theme options, i.e., there's nothing for Field Label. The textbox does have a popup menu at the top left with options to duplicate, move, or delete the box. But nothing for editing. Any insights or suggestions would be appreciated.
