  • 1.  Changing Requester so it Appears on the New Contact's Access Portal for Reporting

    Posted 09-12-2024 09:14

    Hi,

We have an event that is in progress where the original requester is no longer involved.  We were able to update the Requester in the MRF to the new contact however it isn't appearing on her access portal page and still shows on the former requester's page.  The initial requestor does not want to be associated with the event since she will not be responsible for it when it comes to reporting. Is there are way to remove it from her access portal and move it to the new requestor's access portal?  Is the only solution to cancel the initial event and have the new requestor submit it again, which could be problematic as work has already been done on this event?  Please let me know.  Thank you!

    Hi Karen,

I believe that there is a backend action that can be taken to update who the requester is, which will in turn change the access portal that it shows up in and won't require you to submit a new request, create a new event, etc. If you reach out to the success resource on your account, they should be able to assist you with this.
