  • 1.  Consistently aligning multiple widgets in site designer

Hello! I'm unable to figure out why these widgets are not aligning consistently. In all 8 of the widgets the spacing for the widget and the text is identical but as you can see the amount of negative space fluctuates between the each widget. I understand that one line of text vs two lines of text would require different spacing but why 'modeling behaviors' and 'building community' aren't identical is puzzling. Anyone have a similar experience?? It's driving me bonkers not finding a solve for what I'd hope would be an easy fix.

If you click on the text box, and then Styling Options > Customize > Widget, you should see the option to adjust the spacing at the top and the bottom of each text box. The border size may also impact things and it not be noticeable if the color of the border is set as the same as your background. I'd suggest trying those two things to start.

Thanks, Trish appreciate the suggestions. I've tried all of those things. My spacing is set to the same quantities for each widget (and text area) and I have no borders. Might just be a weird c-vent issue.

Hi! This is so frustrating to me too! I don't know if they intended for this solution to finally align text correctly, but I'm happy they added it.

    Use the Container Widget!

    1. Turn your section into a 1-column layout.
    2. Drag the container widget onto the canvas, then drag 4 more of them into the first container widget.
    3. Then you can place each of your headings and paragraphs into those 4 containers.

You can get around this by using a separate section for each row of text.  As previously recommended, you can customize the spacing for each of the text widgets in the top row to make it look the way you want.  Then by adding a new section for the second row of text, those widgets will all align across the top and you can customize the spacing to make those widgets appear as you wish.
