  • 1.  Discount code overriding volume discounts

    Hello,

We have both volume discounts and discount codes. They are not stackable. We had a scenario where a group met the threshold of the volume discount but wanted to use their discount code instead, because it was a better deal. However the system would not register the code and only stayed with the volume rate. Is there a way to allow a code to override a volume?

    Thanks!

    Hi Ofra,

    Hope you are well.

If the discounts are not stackable, the invitees cannot use two discounts at the time of checkout. You can either go to each of these discount codes and make them stackable so that the invitees can use the discount code along with volume discount. Or, you can go to their registration record under the event > Attendees > Attendee list > click on their name > Orders & payments > click on the drop down next to the item name > adjust order amount > reduce the amount basis the discount > click on the (...) next to discount box and select the discount you want to add for them. This will add a second discount to their order along with the volume discount.

Please note that if a volume discount is active, it is applied automatically to the group/guest registration basis the settings of the discount.
