  • 1.  Error message when trying to open and edit a page in the mobile app

    Hi all,

When going into the Event App, I have been receiving an error message when trying to open and edit a page in the mobile app (see screenshot). Has anyone experienced this? And if so, how did you correct the issue? It's been happening all day. I cleared my cookies and cache thinking that would fix it, and it did not.

This type of error often shows when a web page has been removed or a URL is incorrect. This error shows when you are on the front-end/attendee facing side of the mobile app, trying to view a custom page?  Is it a custom page that links to a document? If so, check the URL from the place where you uploaded the document - that you copied it completely.

The error shows on the back end when I try to go in and edit it. It works completely fine on the front end on my phone viewing the app. It is a custom page that just has a few details on emergency info and contacts.

If I've already cleared cache and it's still happening, then I would open a case with Cvent to investigate. I hope it gets resolved quickly!

It is happening to us too. Seems to not be every custom page in our app, just a couple. Here is a video of what happens. Cleared cache etc as well.

Yes, that is exactly what I got. This app has been built for well over a month now, and didn't have this issue up until a few days ago.

    Hi Lindsey,
I've had this occurred to me even after clearing cache and cookies.  I've also tried opening up the Cvent site in Incognito mode.  For my instance, I found out that my company's firewall was blocking it and I ended up resolving it temporarily by logging into our VPN since our Cvent Enterprise license is setup with SSO.  I had to escalate this internally with my IT team as well.   This was after I raised an ticket with Cvent support and they had me send data when replicating the error.  As mentioned earlier, I would still raise a ticket with Cvent Support and see if they can identify the source of the error if this is Cvent or company issue.  Hope this helps
