You should reach out to your Customer Success Advisor. They may need to confirm that Voucher Codes are included in your contract and then turn that feature on for you. Once the feature is turned on in your account, it will appear in the Registration menu underneath Registration Process.

I have been trying to add a voucher code to my event (to limit the number of vendors who can register under the paid registration path).
I can not get past step one.
Steps to create the voucher codes in the event :
Event > Registration > Event Vouchers > Create Vouchers > Enter the basic details and set the capacity (optional) > Save.
I do not have "event vouchers" under my registration options in the event. Is there a different want to get the voucher option to populate?

Hi Nathalie,
Hope you are well!
Please note that discount codes are used to decrease the fee or simply provide a discounted price on the fees set for different items in the event. While the event Voucher is a passcode that is used to start the registration, it can be a password that can be keyed in in order to start the registration. The voucher code act as an added security to the event You can limit how many voucher codes can be used and create multiple voucher codes in the event.
Let's say you want to invite 5 companies to your event, and you want that no more than 10 people from each company should register for your event. In this scenario, you can create 5 different voucher code (1 for each company) and set the capacity to 10 for each code and send the invitation with voucher code to the companies. The first 10 to use the voucher code to register will be able to register for the event. Any invitee who tries to register after the 10 voucher used will not be able to register for the event.
Steps to create the voucher codes in the event :
Event > Registration > Event Vouchers > Create Vouchers > Enter the basic details and set the capacity (optional) > Save.
Adding voucher code widget on Site Designer:
Registration > Registration Process > Open Site Designer > Build > Registration Actions > Drag and Drop Voucher Code onto the canvas > Publish.
Later, you can also run the "Voucher Code Details" report which will return a list of registrant's and the voucher code they used for the event and also includes contact fields, voucher code information, and invitee information. To run this report, please follow these steps:
Event > Reports > Reports > Search for the "Voucher Code Details Report" > Click on the report's name to run it.

Wondering what scenario(s) would support the use of event vouchers? We often use discount codes to manage unique needs as they pop up but have never explored how event vouchers might be used for our builds. When is the appropriate time to use them?
