I highlighted the data tag, then clicked the preferred text color and clicked save, then published it.  The changes did not save.

Hello Amanda,

The Link data tag uses a predefined blue hyperlink color, which overrides any manual text color changes. To apply and retain a custom text color, please use the URL data tag instead.

To do this, follow these steps:

1. Add a Text widget to the page.

2. Enter the required text.

3. Hyperlink the text using the URL data tag.

4. Update the text color as desired.

5. Click on Underline to match the color if it looks different
   
   

6. Save and publish the changes.

Alternatively, you can also use an Image or Button widget and hyperlink it using the URL data tag.
