At this time there is not the ability to create a planner alert, however this is great feedback! I would recommend adding it to the "Product Ideas" section under the Participate drop-down. That way, others can upvote this feedback as well and share with our product team directly.

Is it possible to set up a planner alert or to be notified when a speaker uploads a file in the speaker resource center? I am onsite at a program and don't have time to keep checking for uploads, having an alert would be so much easiser.
