I noticed a white box under the post registration dropdown when i am on an event subpage, but when I am on the confirmation page, it appears as it should. Does anyone know where the setting is for this or how i can change it to appear correct on the normal subpages?

Of course you should be seeing the link for the Confirmation page, but the white dropdown is blocking it out.

Hi Scott!

I did a little testing and it looks like the dropdown pulls the colour of the section background. I'd recommend going into the site designer and clicking in to edit the impacted header and footer - looks like the top image you shared may be a different header/footer from the second one since it has a background image. Select the section containing the website navigation widget (the section will have an orange outline and top piece you can click on to edit the section stylings) and check what the background colour is set to. For example, the below image shows a section background in one of my test events and had a similar behaviour as the image you shared where both the drop down and link text were white:
