Hello - I'm new to Cvent, have set up the event and now running tests with staff - one staff member has mentioned the following:

I was going to do another test as if I was a delegate not staff member, but it is remembering me and won't let me start a new registration even on a different browser. May be an issue if a staff member who has registered one person then wants to register another and can not as the system is remembering them.

Is there a way that I can turn off the auto remembering function? so that if an admin staff member needs to register 10 x delegates they can do so (whilst also being able to enter their contact info in the required section when they answer yes - that they are registering on behalf of someone).

    Hi Cheryl!

Are you in the test mode or is it live?

    Hi Cheryl,

When you are testing, its always going to "remember" you. When you go live, if you need to register someone, it is a different process. You won't need to go in from the front end and fill anything out as if you are the attendee. You will go in from the back end and do it there.

    Does that make sense?  πŸ˜Š

You can use the test feature to register multiple times, but you will need a unique email address for each test.  After completing the first test, the second test to launch will remember you, depending on your browser and cache settings, and ask if you'd like to log in to access your registration.  Simply click the X to close that pop up window, and proceed through the registration questions with a different email address.

    Hello @Cheryl Fisher,

During testing mode, when checking all registration types or registration paths I like to do what Jesse suggested by using a different email address. Email is a wonderful thing when you add a + into your email.

My email is jamzrose@umich.edu but during testing I use jamzrose+student@umcih.edu, jamzrose+alumni@umich.edu, or jamzrose+faculty@umich.edu for example. Cvent will consider these has different invitees but you still get the registration confirmation email into your inbox.
