    Hello. I need help with creating registration paths on Cvent. I know where to find them but not quite sure how to use. We're giving invitees three options on the registration page for an event.
     
    1) Yes, I will attend with a guest
    2) Yes, I will attend with no guest
    3) No, I am unable to attend the event
     
    What I want is that when someone chooses option 3, the registration process should end for them. They shouldn't be asked further questions ahead related to the registration process.

    Dear Ashar,

    I may not fully understand your goal, but if you're looking to provide invitees with a way to decline, you can manually add a "Decline" option in the event invitation email. This can be done by including a button or link labeled "I am unable to attend", which directs them to a Decline Registration Path or a separate response form.

    Once an invitee selects this option, you can run a Registration Report to track who has declined. These individuals can then be excluded from any further event-related emails.

    Additionally, if you don't want to send invitation email, you can set this up by using Registration Paths to control the flow of the registration process. Here's how:

    1. Create Three Registration Paths:

      • Attending with a Guest
      • Attending without a Guest
      • No, I am unable to attend

    2. Customize the "No, I am unable to attend" Path:

      • Remove all unnecessary registration steps.
      • Keep only a confirmation message thanking them for their response.

    3. Assign Logic to Direct Registrants to the Correct Path:

      • Under Registration Type & Paths Assignment, ensure that selecting "No, I am unable to attend" sends them directly to the confirmation page without additional questions.

    This setup ensures that those who are not attending won't be asked to proceed further in the registration process. Let me know if you need further guidance!
