  • 1.  Setting up Members and Non-Members Registration Paths

    Hello,

    Please can you offer some help. I am a first time user to CVent and setting up a registration site for multiple different registration types i.e. Board member, Member, Non-Member. Do I need to set these up as different registration paths?

    Welcome to Cvent! You don't necessarily need to set up different registration paths for Board Members, Members, and Non-Members, but it depends on the level of customization you need.

    When to Use Different Registration Paths:

    1. If each group requires a unique experience, such as different pages, sessions, or fees.
    2. If you want to customize confirmation emails or limit visibility to certain sections based on the registrant type.


    Alternative Approach - Using Registration Types:

    If the differences are only in pricing or minor content changes, you can simply create Registration Types instead of separate paths. Then:

    1. Assign fees based on registration type.
    2. Use visibility rules to show/hide specific content for each group.
