We have an event coming up in April that is for school board members and school district superintendents and staff. We already have the various registration types that we use year to year (Board member, Superintendent, Other staff, etc.)

New this year, we are asking districts to register up to 4 additional members from their respective tribes. We want there to be a limit of 4 tribal members per school district charged a fee of $35 each. We also want to avoid sending all the automatic emails out to this specific registration type as many will be elders who don't need that information.

Each district typically has one person who does all their registering, so we are trying to figure out the best approach for creating this specific registration option, with a different fee than the others, and who won't receive all the communications we normally send. We still need to collect the tribal member's personal information for name tag creation.

Thanks for your question! You can set this up by creating a new Tribal Member registration type in Cvent and associating it with a $35 admission item that allows up to four registrations per district. To do this, navigate to Registration Types, create a new type for tribal members, and then go to Admission Items to set up the $35 fee. Under Availability, restrict this item to the Tribal Member registration type and set a quantity limit of 4 per registrant to ensure districts don't exceed the allowed number. If needed, you can also exclude this registration type from automated emails under the Emails section to prevent unnecessary messages. This setup ensures districts can easily register their tribal members while keeping communication streamlined. Let me know if you have any questions.
