Read our top interactive event ideas that get everyone involved and having fun.

    Create a theme

Incorporate a theme that engages participants and encourages interaction throughout the event.

    Utilize technology

Leverage event tech tools like live polling, interactive displays, and event apps to enhance engagement and participation.

    Gamify the experience

Integrate gamification elements such as leaderboards, challenges, and rewards to make the event more interactive and enjoyable.

    Encourage networking

Provide opportunities for attendees to connect and network through icebreaker activities, speed networking sessions, or dedicated networking lounges.

    Interactive sessions

Offer interactive breakout sessions, workshops, or panel discussions where attendees can actively participate, ask questions, and share their insights.

    Use interactive tools

Incorporate tools like live Q&A sessions, interactive surveys, and audience response systems to involve participants and gather real-time feedback.

    Incorporate hands-on activities

Organize hands-on activities or experiential stations where attendees can learn, create, or explore in an interactive manner.

    Foster collaboration

Promote group activities or team-building exercises that encourage collaboration and problem-solving among attendees.

    Engage with social media

Encourage attendees to share their experiences on social media using event hashtags, and consider incorporating live social media walls or contests to boost engagement.

    Follow up after the event

Keep the interactive experience alive by following up with attendees post-event, providing resources, or hosting virtual networking opportunities.

How do you measure the success of interactive elements in your events? Its elusive and take proactive measures like monitoring your socials for reposts, shares. Mostly feedback survey - ask explicit targeted questions about impact to understand value for repeating the element in a future event. Know your audience!
Can you share any unique ideas or strategies you've used to encourage attendee interaction at your events? Badge scavenger hunt - find people with the same number/image on their badge and use mobile app to track by submitting a picture or completing a task.

How do you measure the success of interactive elements in your events? Depends on whic interactive method is implemented!

    • If it's an app-based scavenger game, then how many people participated/engagement score is a good measure.
    • If it's a networking activity, how many new contacts people left with (measured through survey).

Can you share any unique ideas or strategies you've used to encourage attendee interaction at your events? A joint craft activity is great! Instead of distributing generic swag at registration, give attendees an option to create something they actually want to take home. Bookbinding a notebook, painting a flower pot, thing that are fairly simple to run.

How do you measure the success of interactive elements in your events? We normally try and keep good count of how many people interact with them
    - Can you share any unique ideas or strategies you've used to encourage attendee interaction at your events? Our AI photo booth was probably one of the biggest hits we had, photo walls and backdrops, interactive 100'+ touch screen walls

    - Can you share any unique ideas or strategies you've used to encourage attendee interaction at your events? Highlighting sponsors and items of interaction to drive interest.  Also having entertainment draw attention to the interaction during sessions.
