attendee received notice a spot was open on a waitlist. The waitlist notification email was not active; how did they still receive the notice?

    Hi Anita,

Which event were you working in when this occurred? Are there multiple Invitation Lists that it could have been inactive in one list, but active in another?

    Best,
    Danni

Hi Danielle, I'm working in the MTG-2018 NAIC/NIPR Insurance Summit. There are multiple invitations lists, they are all active, though because of the lengthy waitlist, I removed NAIC Staff from being able to access the 'Seven Secrets to Professional Writing' session.  That is when I received notice from a staffer that he could be removed from the list based on waitlist notification email he received.

    Hi Anita,

Thank you so much for the additional information. I went into your event, and you are correct that the event Waitlist Notification is inactive. However, the email the staffer received was the Session Waitlist Notification, which is currently set to active. You can disable this for all invitees by navigating to Promotion & Communication > Session Emails > Session Waitlist Notification > Edit > Active: No > Save.

    Best,
    Danni

Hi Danni, thank you very much.  I thought I had looked at all the possible places where the email could have originated.
