    Is there a way to force people to choose at least one optional item?

    Hi Kris,

    Yes, by creating an Advanced Rule. Go to Website & Registration > Registration > Advanced Rules > Create > Type: Quantity Item > Under Quantity Item Rule, set the minimum quantity items allowed to 1.
