    Hello Veronique,

    You can actually choose either Email Adderss, Regitration Confirmation Number or Cvent ID.

    You can see if you are using Email Address or Cvent ID by going to Website & Regitration > Registration Settings > click on the registration path in question (if you have only one path it will automatically go into the path) > click on the Identification & Security tab

    Under the Registration Indentification header you will see how Cvent is setup to identify registrants:
    • Email Address
    • Source ID (Cvent ID)
    • Email Address and Source ID
    You can run a Contact Report to show the Source ID / Email Address so you can upload the attendees to the Session in question.

    This still didn't work for me. I made sure to select email only, but my participants still won't import and it appears as if it is due to the Cvent ID. I tried adding a Cvent ID column and it still didn't work. Any tips?

    Do you get an error? Are you getting an email once the import is done? Does it say that all the records were skipped? If so, you can look at your recent imports and see what failed to import. That may give you a clue.

    If you're doing a participant import, the Cvent ID should be the registrant's confirmation number.

    So...Why in the template we download from CVENT we have "Cvent ID" and "Confirmation Number" columns if it the same value?
    Do we need to copy the same content in both columns maybe?

    I haven't used the participant import but it says
    Email Address or Confirmation Number or Cvent ID

    No idea what the Cvent ID would be unless it is the long "d0cbf333-4c92-4041-8b69-8c60e5a5b989" used as the contact id. Something that isn't even availbale in report.

    I'd use confirmation and leave email and cvent id blank.
