Is there any way to pull a report that would show for a repeat event, how our registrations are tracking year over year?  By this I mean, a weekly (monthly, daily, etc) report that would show how our regisrations this year are tracking against the same point in time last year.  So in 2015, 3 weeks before the event date we had 200 registrations, this year, 190.  Thanks

You can compare the event from 2015 to 2016; however, you would actually need to create multiple events to monthly, daily, etc.

Here is how you can do it:

Cross Events > Cross Event Reports > Create Custom Report (green button) > Category (dropdown) choose Events & Type: Events > Step 2: Choose Fields > Step 3: Sort Data > Step 4: Dates of events (you could choose From: Jan 1 2015 and leave To: blank. You will want to say Yes to Event Filter and select your two repeat events so you only show these events > Finish & Run Report

Note: Again, if you would like to see Year over Year the above will be acceptable. However, if you would like to show what events looked like in a certain month in 2015 and 2016 then you will need to create two reports to show the month in 2015 and the month in 2016 then export both to compare.

I agree - we need to communicate.  I simply wish Cvent was a whole lot more responsive.  Years is not an acceptable timeline for something like adding a location to the agenda - my biggest peeve - and on the list for going on 3 years.  An agenda is 3 key pieces of information - time, session, location.  3 years - and they still don't have it right.
