    I need to send different emails to registrants by admission item. I can create reports by each item with registrants' names and emails, but I can't figure out how to send that list an email. I've tried searching the knowledge base without success. I could send mass emails to various report lists in Classic. Does this function still exist in Flex? If so, where is it?

    If you don't need to do it often...
    create your email
    click on the admission item and click on the number of registrations in the right column
    select all and select the email you just created
    Bulk Actions --> Send Mail

    If you need to do this often or have it scheduled...
    My hack would be to create a custom contact field named C-ADMISSION.
    export those who you want to send the email to (first name, last name, email) and admission item name.
    Import back into your contact list with C-ADMISSION being the admission name.

    Then you can use filter C-ADMISSION = your admission name.
    To double check before sending, check that manual send equals the same number.

    I use this all the time when I need to target specific attendees.
    Down is that it only works for attendees, not guests.

    Thanks for posting. I spent time on chat just before you posted. The CS rep walked me through the process of starting with an email --in much more detail--which I needed.

    This is an old thread, but it came up when I was looking for answers myself, so I wanted to add a way to do this where the emails end up being automatic instead of having to manually send them: 

    • create your email based on your trigger audience, as usual (such as "accepted registrants")
    • once the email is created, go into the "Advanced Settings" tab, then Advanced Filters. There, you can create a filter based on the admission item. 

    In my case, I have one of my registration types that can choose to join either in-person or virtually through the admission item, and so I wanted to be able to send them a different post-reg email and reminder to attend email based on that! 

    Hope that helps the next person looking to do something similar.
