  • 1.  Incentive Trip - Air Request - Dual Destination

    Hello everyone!

    I'm looking for anyone who has created an air request for dual destinations. This is actually a program that was postponed, so we have completed registration already. We will "re-register" and I want the website to look clean.

    I was not a fan of how our air request form was set-up. We had a dual destination (international) so attendees had to make 2 different one-way flight requests per person. If someone was extending in another country, they had 3 flight requests per person.

    Has anyone found a more efficient way to set this up so it does not look cluttered?

    For example:

    Outbound: STL - > Chiang Mai - International

    Extension:  Chiang Mai - > Vietnam

    Return: Vietnam > STL

    This would be PER person and three separate one-way flight requests.

    Hello Danielle,

    No, I have not found a solution. We've actually opened a case before and there was no solution at the time. However, it seems as if Cvent has added multi-city travel in Air Actuals, just not air requests.

    Hi Thu,

    You are preaching to choir as this multi-city feature on the air request widget is a MUST HAVE for our incentive events. Classic had this functionality, but we transitioned to Flex where the feature is surprisingly not available among other features (Step Mode, Info pre-populating from Primary to Guest, etc). 

    The workaround you listed above would definitely not work with my company's use case as our Registrants can bring a guest to the incentive trips and it would be very cumbersome to fill out multiple one way flight requests for the Primary Registrant AND their guest.

    @Danielle Czark- Hope you are doing well! I have shared this in the idea section along my other suggestions to go back to how Air Requests operated in Classic. Is there a short term workaround for the multi city scenario other than the multiple one way requests? I know there is not too much traveling going on right now, but like Thu, we are preparing for future events and would like to see solutions soon.

    Thanks for chiming in, Kevin. We allow our attendees to bring guests too. Like you said, it is very cumbersome. We have them fill out at least 2 air requests per person. 

    I noticed that the air actuals provide information for multi-destination travel now. Hopefully there will be some sort of transition for the air request portion soon!

I just looked into this further and unfortunately do not believe there is a work-around or solution aside from the steps are you are taking at this time.
