  • 1.  Restricted usage of Contact Fields & Custom Contact fields

    Dear Community,
    Dear Cvent Team

    Soon we start an integration between our HR System and Cvent Contact Database to update profile information from HR System.
    Now I want to restrict the usage of these specific fields in the event registration for the event planner.
    Either the fields can be shown but only as "Read-Only" or the fields cannot be added to the event registration.

    What do you recommend?

    Hi Tanja,

    There may not be a way to limit only contact fields from specific user roles. You could consider creating an Event Template that either does not include these fields, or has them as read-only as you mentioned, and the user would build onto their event from there.
