New month, new product updates to share! Keep reading for some great enhancements on #AttendeeHub and #Event(Flex) Registration and the new experience.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Attendee Hub

Added text styling to custom pages: You can now style custom page text for the Attendee Website and Event App using a rich-text editor.

Updated the sponsor display for sessions on the Attendee Website: Session sponsors will now display at the bottom of the session card on the All Sessions and My Schedule pages of the Attendee Website, allowing for larger numbers of sponsors and the ability to quickly access a sponsor's page by clicking on their logo.

Incorporated custom card images into the Event App: Any custom images you've uploaded for link or video cards will now be displayed within the card on the Home page of Event App, in addition to the Attendee Website.

    Event Management

    Event Registration (Flex)

Improved the registration experience for events with air requests: We've updated the air request widget so registrants will only see air request fields once they have chosen to book a flight during registration.

Export Plain Text for Rich Text Enabled Resources: The exports within Language Management Translations now includes exports of rich text enabled resources. If the export does include a rich text item, it will be exported as plain-text.

Import Plain Text for Rich Text Enabled Resources: The imports within Language Management Translations now give you the option to choose if you would like to import in rich text enabled resources.

    New Experience

New Event Creation Flows: Re-imagined event creation form brings this pivotal workflow to the new framework, simplifying and streamlining the process of creating a new event, using any of the event creation methods available.

    - New Creation Flow provides options to create event from Scratch or Template by clicking on Create Event button
    - Copy option is available on Event List and Event Status Page
    - New Event Creation Form
    - New "More Options" button on event list page can be used to create additional event types depending on user/account access

    Hey Cvent,

Could you elaborate a bit more on "Improved the registration experience for events with air requests"? The Air Request widget has always had a "Request a flight" (or whatever its default name is) button which brings up the full form.  What has changed on this?

What would be a great enhancement is allowing some logic in the Air Request widget, so only those with certain Reg Types can see it, or that it would appear based off a previous question i.e. "How would you like to book your travel". The answer could bring up the Air Request widget, Air Actuals (already booked flight), Concur, or nothing if they are local.  Currently, we have overly complicated registrations with multiple paths to manage this OR all options are exposed which is a confusing attendee experience.

    Thanks, Henk

    Hi Henk,

Thank you for following up! Here are some more details to the enhancement based on feedback we received earlier:

    • The option to say "no" to flight requests was placed at the bottom of the widget and some invitees were missing it while registering. To resolve this concern, we have moved it to the top.
    • At times invitees skipped over the flight request widget. Therefore, we have made the question mandatory and invitees have to say whether they would like to place a flight request or not.
    • Previously the Cvent user/event planner couldn't get the information if the invitees have intentionally not placed the request or if they missed the widget. Now, the invitees response is stored even when they say no to the flight request, so that the event planner can run reports and see who said no to the flight requests.

    Hope this helps!
