    Hi there, just wanted to check what other companies specify in their meeting and events policy as to what goes on the calendar or needs a registration form/site?

    Right now we specify any event with over 10 attendees.  Does anyone add any events that are lower in number?  Just curious as since we went virtual we are also doing a lot more smaller meetings as well as the conferences getting bigger.

    We do everything as it should all be trackable and helps with cross-event reporting. For the smaller events you could always establish a simple template where just the name of the event swaps out so replicating and creating new events should be a breeze!

    I don't think they (the requestors) realize the amount of work we have to do to go "live" with everything they need for their meetings. HOWEVER.... if they got just one new client from that meeting of 10 people... would it be worth it? If it's not trackable, it's not reportable (and it's not actionable). We have increased easily 5X in the number of events we are doing, as compared with last year, and we are determined to support all events, regardless of the size. We have had a few in the teens, but most of ours are between 30 and 200. Hope that helps!

    We fall into the track everything camp right now, but maybe it's just entering the meeting into a request form so you have the basic data, but there's no registration site. If stakeholders need visibility to what's being managed under your current meetings policy standards, maybe you rely on the Request Form report to judge how many of these smaller activities are taking place and make a decision in the next few months for how to adjust (if at all).

    We have kind of confusing wording. For sourcing/contracting services, anything with 10 room nights or more, or any size meeting in need of meeting space. For a registration website, 10 or more. For an air travel meeting shell, 6 or more.
