This week, we're loaded with #Event(Classic)#Event(Flex), #Appointments, and #OnArrival releases!

    ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

    Event Management

Update to webhooks report: You can now view an event-specific "Webhooks Message History" report on the webhooks configuration page within an event. This lets you quickly jump back to the event to review or update its webhooks integration settings.

    Appointments

Add and register attendees on the fly: For appointment events linked to Flex events, you can now let certain groups of attendees add and automatically register other attendees. Attendees can do this either on the Directory page of the attendee website or while creating an appointment. The new person will then be registered behind the scenes with the admission item and registration type preselected by you on the back-end.

(Note: You can set up this feature on a group's Permissions page within Appointments.)

    OnArrival

Check-In Window Configuration: In Event Management, you can set your check-in window for all sessions at their event. You can select smart session timing based on whether or not there are ongoing sessions in a selected location. This means sessions have at least 10 minutes before the start time to check in attendees but could have up to 40 minutes if there are no sessions afterward.

You can also define your own check-in window but these settings apply to every session for the event. You can set how many minutes before to a session they would like to begin checking in attendees and select when they want the check-in window to end. The session check-in window can end at session end, minutes before session end, or minutes after session starts.

Locking a device in OnArrival Android: You can lock onsite staff into either the event level, a specific session, or location. They can do this this by tapping on the overflow menu in the upper right-hand corner and then tapping Lock Device. Once you've reached the Lock Device step, you can configure which features are also available to the locked onsite staff member. You can turn the following features on or off:

    - Access to the attendee list

    - Automatically advance through the session schedule (only available if a session is assigned to a location)

    - Require a password for access control overrides

    - Register someone onsite

Once an onsite staff member is locked, they won't have access to the side menu as well as the overflow menu. This means that you'll need to unlock the device to make any updates, such as locations, settings, or switch between check-in and checkout modes. You can unlock a device by tapping on the lock icon at the top of the screen.

Automatic session progression: If a device is locked into a location (only when a session is assigned and follow session schedule setting is turned on), an onsite staff member won't have to change sessions manually. The app will do this for them based on the schedule set on the web. Locked devices will just need to check in attendees until the time has come to move to the next session. The onsite staff member will see a blue screen telling them it's time to start scanning for the next session as soon as it's available.

Access control: You can make session and device specific updates to ignore access control rules like either capacity or walk-ins. You can access these settings per session by tapping on the overflow menu and selecting access control settings.

Advanced ZC10L support: OnArrival Android now supports printing to the new Advanced ZC10L which removes the need to use BarTender for basic events. OnArrival now supports printing on demand and scanning for UHF, NFC, or both.

OnArrival Android Kiosk mode: You can lock your devices into either planner admin or Kiosk Mode at a location. When a session is assigned a location, you can choose whether or not the device should follow the session schedule or remain on the session that was selected. When you launch into Kiosk Mode, they can quickly select Normal or QuickScan as well as access Kiosk Mode settings.
