    Hello,

    I'm creating an event with Flex that has different home pages per Reg Type.

    What's the best way to handle different landing pages based on Reg type in Flex?

    Hi @Barry Derlago,

    My first question is why do you need two landing pages? You can set up a single landing page/home page/Event Summary Page and easily direct your two different audiences to the info that is relevant to them. I.E.:

    "Welcome to the XYZ Conference for Dog and Cat Trainers. We have two exciting agendas planned for each area of expertise!

    Dog trainers, click here to learn about all the content we offer that is specialized to your needs.

    Cat trainers, your feline friends deserve the special content we have customized for you, so click here to read about it in detail."

    Put in a couple of custom pages and voila, all the info is on 1 website and you dodge the problems of creating two landing pages.

    #CventHack, you can use custom links for those specific custom pages. Also, you may have the ability to hide the Summary page and just have the two custom pages visible. Note that you'll have to use the custom links for those all the time and be very careful to avoid using custom page tags that reference a hidden summary page.​​​​​

    I agree. I would just make one landing page with paths for each registration type. You can customize each path and the information you ask, different sessions etc. And yes, you can create different invitations to the types of registrations and have the registration link go to the reg type.

    I would agree with the group. Have only one summary page/landing page, but multiple paths.

    One of the sites I am currently working on has three paths with five registration types. On the landing page, the user chooses a registration type and all the following pages are for that specific path. Consent form, specific admission item and specific sessions.

    If you absolutely need separate "landing pages", you can instead use the first page (aka Personal information page) of each registration types' registration path as a sort of Work-around. Then, instead of sharing the event's overall landing page,  you'd be able to share each registration path weblink for your desired registration type with its appropriate audience.
