When you created your session, is it an included session? It should be an optional session.

If you go into your session – under availability there is a choice of included or optional. Optional should be chosen but I thought it defaulted to that automatically when you create it.
Without knowing the event, it's hard to comment.Is there only one session in your event?
If it's included, you don't even need the session widget.Does you admission item have and rules associated with it?
