  • 1.  Displaying multi-location on event website

Hi! I have an event I am creating a flex for that is a 3 day event where there are different locations for different activities, all within the same city in a walking vicinity. The first night is a dinner at the hotel they will be staying at. Then the next day is at a venue across the street. Then at a restaurant. In the event details section where we input a location, I am thinking of having it show as just "city, State" instead of a specific location...or does it make sense to have the hotel there? Regardless was going to setup an agenda in text on the website with locations for each activity, but curious what other have done for similar events? If you have pictures of your site setup that's even more helpful! Do you do the agenda on a separate web page within the site...or on the same main page?

I often list the hotel as the location, or as you're thinking, only list the city & state in the Event Information Location field, however that will populate with a spare comma in the Add to Calendar link.

Then list a custom page with locations, or add as session locations if using the agenda wizard.

You can put the location into the session itself.

we additionally spell out the events and locations in the confirmation email and on the agenda page

I always put the hotel as the main location. That way, participants can see the hotel on the map widget. As others point out, I would put the other locations as session locations. However, I would probably upload a map with all the locations of the event marked. Maybe also put it available for download and print.

As for the agenda, I use the standard agenda widget. All the sessions would have their location, but there would be a additional map to show them where everything is according to the hotel.

    We'd:
Put the hotel as the main location.
Put the other locations as session locations.
Create additional website page/s with maps, directions etc on website as tabs.
    Add additional maps in OnArrival.
