    Hello Community!

Does anyone have a sample of survey questions that you are using for events that you have transitioned to virtual?

    Thanks so much!

I have uploaded a copy of the feedback survey questions we used for one of our virtual events.

We have three current models/platforms for online learning management models. First, we have the Zoom platform which we use to host three 90-minute sessions (typically on concurrent days) or four 60-minute sessions that span two work weeks on Tues./Thurs. dates. Secondly, we have a more self-paced virtual delivery model through a third-party learning system which gives our attendees the option to move through the course materials (5 modules in total) over the course of 8-weeks. This second option has a course facilitator from our staff, an open forum for Q&A, and downloadable course materials.

That being said, one of our main questions is about the delivery model, depending on the type of session they attended - "Do you feel this course would be improved in the future by being offered as /for example/ an 8-week self-paced course with a facilitator and forum?"

Also, we are asking if there are any needs to online learning tool tutorials. We have many clients in underserved areas that may need telephone-only event modules or tutorials on how to use Zoom or our other virtual delivery model learning system. "Did you have any struggles with the tools needed to access your course?"  Follow-up: "If so, can your Regional Director or Client Support Coordinator contact you to help you with some additional, complimentary tool tutorials?"

    Hello,

We asked our usual questions (Would you recommend this conference to a colleague, rate these various aspects, rate the sessions/presenters etc), but we did include some virtual-specific items to rate such as: technology (ease of use, reliability), virtual interactivity (polls, Q&A, chat), etc. We also have people rate presenters on their ability to use the medium to their advantage (on top of the usual: relevance of information, how engaging was the speaker, etc).

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Tiffany,

It looks like you got some great answers already but just wanted to add a few of ours:

    Rating Questions
    - How did the transition to a virtual event meet your expectations?
    - How would you rate your experience with our virtual conference to other virtual events you have participated in ( we had a similar worded question that was actually open-ended in our draft version but just used the rating question instead)
    - How would you rate the technology we used for our event?

    Yes/No or open ended
    - If we were to have a virtual aspect of future events, would you opt to attend virtually instead of in person?
    - List any benefits of attending our virtual event that you may not have experienced at a live event?

    Hope it helps!

We ask the same questions that we ask in person, and we use the additional of polling questions to learn about the attendee's environment. For example, what ERP do they use, etc. Anything that provides data for our sales team to assist them!

We asked a few question during registration to help determine which geo locations we needed to accommodate along with questions to help narrow down content topics for our presenters. Both types of questions helped us provide a more targeted/specialized experience for our global viewing audience.
