The Cvent Excellence Awards celebrate customers who are driving innovation in the meetings, events, and hospitality industries. Next week on Wednesday, August 5th, at Noon-1:00 ET, we'll be hosting a real-time Ask the Expert right here in the Community to answer your questions about using the entire Cvent platform to manage your holistic events program and prove your success through an incredible attendee experience.
We will have experts from SoftPro here in the Open Forum to answer your questions. SoftPro is a 2020 finalist for the Mobile Maverick award, which showcases best use of mobile event technology. SoftPro starts the event lifecycle by sourcing their venue through the Cvent Supplier Network, then builds out registration through Cvent Event Management. They have been using Classic registration for over five years and have begun their Flex migration this year. Their game-changer experience was the implementation of the CrowdCompass mobile app at their annual conference, where they saw an 87% adoption rate in 2019, 22,300 user interactions with the app, and 99% attendee satisfaction.

I wanted to pass along a great discussion in the Community reviewing the Cvent certificate feature and how to email it to your attendees at the end of the event. To ensure it is personalized for each attendee, you can use a Full Name data tag, which will populate their contact details on the certificate when they download it from the email. If you're looking to transition an in-person event to completely virtual, we'd recommend researching and using virtual event software platforms (Cvent is a great place to start😃). Make sure you're using features like chat and video to interact with attendees virtually. We also recommend recording any sessions and making them available, at least temporarily, after the conference. We've found that it can be difficult for attendees to attend and virtual event, especially if it lasts several hours, so they're more likely to consume the content on their own time outside of the scheduled live date and time.
