Terms & Conditions Functionality for In-Person Events

    Hello,

I would like to get some of your insight if possible.

Does your company utilize the Terms & Conditions widget for their events to protect themselves from liability/legal ramifications? If not, does the company plan to in the future with the fact that once their is a chance to open up in-person events, companies would like to be clear that they will not held liable for items like injury, sickness, etc? Especially now with the COVID situation.

If you utilize the OnArrival T&C functionality to capture agreement onsite during events, how do you plan on minimizing risk of exposure as hundreds of people are touching the screen?

Ideally, I would like to capture T&C agreements from all attendees (Primary Registrants & their guests) before the event as they can agree upon it on their own devices along with the ability to create an audit report to show what exact verbiage attendees agreed upon during registration or check in. Unfortunately, this is not possible right now.

I would like to hear how other planners and organizers are planning to protect themselves from liability.

    Thank you,

That is a great question. I had not thought of the Terms and Conditions option but I am now. Unfortunately, we haven't come up with any specific language yet.
