Currently our memberships are all individual. So each person who opts for membership has to go in and update.  This is fine when the individual pays for him or herself. I have a few schools that want to register two or more at the same time, almost like a "guest," and then receive one invoice or one credit card payment receipt for the total. Is there a way to do this?
    Thanks

    Hey Susan,

In the past when we have had groups who wish to pay for all the registrations in one transaction, we have them select that they are paying by check and then accept the payment for all of  their bookings offline and apply it to each registration as an offline payment after the fact. For larger groups, I've also accepted a payment ahead of time for x number of registrations and then created a discount code for that group to use. The administrator sends all her staff the code to use when they register and they do so in their own time and know that their company has already paid their registration. This second way is really good for instances when the company is paying for the base registration but the attendee needs to pay their own extras like dinners/tours etc.

    Hope this is somewhat helpful!

I know in our case, we've had assistance registering for a few of their bosses, we just told them in order to keep registration clean each person would have to be registered individually.

    Hello Susan,

I work for a teachers union, so I have a very similar situation on my hands!

We currently use Group Registration for that purpose, where a school admin can go in, register, and pay for all the educators going. Each person registered receives their own registration info, and they can them get back in and modify their own information if needed.
Here's the article on how to set it up: https://support.cvent.com/apex/CommunityArticle?id=000060534

Only caveat: if you have a third party integration to check your attendees membership status upon registration (if your events are members only), it currently does not play well with Group Registration. But that's getting quite nitty-gritty!

    Cheers,

I agree with @Beline Falzon, enabling Group Registration is the way to go for a single financial transaction.
