    Hello, Cvent Community, and happy Thursday! We've got some exciting updates to share today across our #VirtualAttendeeHub, #Event(Flex), and #Surveys solutions. Check them out below.

    Virtual Attendee Hub


    Session Documents:
    Session documents uploaded to the sessions within your event will now be available on the session details page in VAH, allowing your event attendees to browse and engage with these documents/resources. The following file types will be allowed: pdf, ppt, doc, txt, xls, gif, jpg, jpeg, bmp, tif, tiff, docx, pptx, xlsx, png, ai, eps, msg, pst, ost, ttf, woff, otf, woff2, eml, ics, not to exceed 10MB.

    Virtual Room Redesign: The redesigned virtual room puts the video content front and center, making the experience feel more immersive while also making it easy to engage in the session with other attendees through Q&A (and, soon to come, polling and chat).

    Event Registration (Flex)


    Logic Tags:
    In your Flex events, you can now define the logic that determines what content your attendees will see in emails based on the attendee's contact or contact custom fields. You can choose to show account/event custom data tags or custom text to eligible invitees.

     

    Surveys


    Basic Surveys for Flex Events


    Automated Survey Completion Emails:
    Emails can now be automatically sent after the attendee or guest completes all the surveys applicable to them. This allows you to send completion emails or certificates after the surveys are taken, which could help boost survey response rates. (Note: If an attendee or guest is eligible to take multiple surveys, they'll only receive the completion email after they complete all of their surveys.)

     

    Premium Surveys for Flex Events


    Scoring Session Surveys:
    Typically used for quizzing attendees on session content, you can now assign points and score session surveys. The attendees will be awarded points based on their answer choices and will receive a total score and total percent score after completing each session survey. (Note: This was already available for event-level surveys; this release now brings the functionality to your session surveys as well.)

    Award Credits Based on Score: With the new scoring feature, you can now opt to only award credits to attendees who have scored over a certain percentage on their session or general event survey. You can set up the minimum percent score required to receive credits under the event and session credits section in your event.
