    Hi, does anyone know if there is a way to list sessions by category in a confirmation email?

    Hi Jayne,

    It looks like the "My Agenda" widget within event emails has the ability to display session custom fields, but there isn't the ability to display or toggle on a setting to display session category within this widget currently. This is great feedback though and I will be submitting it to our product team on your behalf and I also encourage you to submit the idea within the "Ideas" tab of the Cvent Community as well!

    Using Display Priority to Reorder Sessions and Session Groups

    Sessions and session groups with the same start date and time automatically display in alphabetical order. Override this with display priority and placement dates. This field allows you to reorder concurrent sessions based off of a prioritized list of numbers on the sessions page as well as the fees page.
     
    NOTE: By default, sessions with a different start date and time are listed chronologically. Use categories for more options.

    Using Display Priority to Reorder Sessions

    1 Access the Sessions page. Begin by selecting your event. From the left-hand navigation, click Agenda, then Session List.

    2 Reorder all your sessions at once. Check the boxes to the left of the sessions you want to prioritize. Hover over Actions and click Edit.

    From the Select Fields dropdown, check Display Priority.
     
    NOTE: Unable to check the box? Since only eight fields can be edited at once, you'll need to uncheck another field.

    Enter your priority number, with one being the first to display. Zero means no priority and will appear after prioritized sessions.

    Or individually reorder your sessions. Click the name of your session. The Details tab will open by default. Click the right most tab, Advanced Settings, then Edit.

    Using the Placement Date to Reorder Session Groups

    1 Access the Session Groups page. Begin by selecting your event. From the left-hand navigation, click Agenda, then Session Groups.

    2 Reorder all your session groups at once. Check the boxes to the left of the session groups you want to prioritize. Hover over Actions and click Edit.

    From the Select Fields dropdown, check "Display placement date."
     
    NOTE: Unable to check the box? Since only eight fields can be edited at once, you'll need to uncheck another field.

    Enter your placement date and time, with the earliest being the first to display.

    Click Save.

    Or individually reorder your session groups. Click the name of your session group, then click Edit. Scroll down to the Display Options section and adjust the Placement Date, with the earliest being the first to display.

    Then, determine if you want to display the placement time on the Item Selection page of registration.

    When you're done, click Save.
