  • 1.  Initial Registration Webpage (accept or decline registration)

    Posted 03-21-2022 02:53

    Hi there,

I am fairly new to setting up a registration site in CVENT. I am wondering if when I create the registration site, how do I add on the first page:

    • Register Here (that then takes them to the next page to begin registering)
    • Decline Registration (that ends their session and emails me that they declined)
Can someone send me a link to how to add those 2 buttons at the start of my registration site?
Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi Pam,
You could change the names of your "Cancel" and "Next" buttons on the first page of registration to be "Register" and "Decline".
To have the system actually keep track of accepted vs declined, I think you would need to use the data codes {[E-RSVP YES LINK]} and {[E-RSVP NO LINK]} that can be included in emails. I don't think they can be included in the reg website itself.
    Cheers,

Can you do custom register buttons and instead of a link try using the RSVP yes or no data tags?

That is what I do - the custom buttons on the summary page. You find those links under Marketing>Weblinks. Just copy the registration link and the regret survey link and add each one to a custom link button widget. Hope this helps.
