Can you freeze a budget column to prevent the planner from making edits to that budget column?

Yes, you can create a locked sheet so that in order to make edits you will need to enter a password.

    Hi Lisa,

I hope you are well. You can't necessarily freeze the budget column, however an Administrator is able to limit the overall Budget access through User Roles. If you access their User Role > Administrative tab > Edit > Budget Permissions, you can grant or remove access to Budget Options, Budget Subcategories, Budget Allocation Categories, Budget Allocation Subcategories, and Vendors.

If this is not exactly what you were looking for, don't hesitate to post your feedback as an idea in the Ideation section of the Community! This will allow other Cvent users to up-vote if they agree and gives visibility to our Product team.

    Best,
    Danni
