Sourcing locations in the Northeast for a small mid October 2020 meeting.  Looking for destination suggestions.

Accessibility to major airport. Local Fall festivals, fall foliage tours, etc to offer attendees.

    Hi Mary,

This is a great question! I would recommend taking a look at the Cvent Supplier Network when you can search for venues by location and filter for different requirements you may have. You can access the Supplier Network in your Cvent account or by going to

I am from the NorthEast, Western MA to be exact. There is only 1 major airport in MA, and that is Boston. Public transportation is GREAT to get people to hotels. But you'll need to charter vehicles to get people to leaf-peeping destinations. There are duck boat tours, historical bus tours, and lots of stuff to do.

If Burlington Intl Airport in Vermont has adequate airlift for you, VT is very beautiful, has some fine hotels, and beautiful mountain scenery.

Unfortunately, New Hampshire has NO major airport. Too bad, because I love the Omni Mount Washington Resort and Concord NH with nearby Kangamangus Hwy is beautiful. Also, the OMWR has onsite horseback riding and golf, and a bunch of amenities.

    Hi Mary,

We hosted a small leadership meeting in Portsmouth, NH last year. Although we are located in MA, we did have a handful of attendees flying in. Without traffic, Portsmouth is really only an hour from Logan Airport. The city is very walk-able with lots of great restaurants. If this is a higher-end meeting, I would suggest Wentworth by the Sea - It's right outside Portsmouth but a great hotel.

Salem, MA is also very popular in October - full of foliage and decorated for Halloween. It can be busy on the weekends, but if it's a mid-week meeting it shouldn't be too bad.
