I'm relatively new to Cvent. We just hosted our first (virtual) event. We recorded it and I now want to offer it as an on-demand webinar (for a fee) for those who didn't attend the original event. What is the most efficient way to do this? Right now - I've copied my event and making the necessary changes (there's no set time, the zoom link is different, etc.) Is this the best way or is there a more efficient method?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Shelly,

Congrats on completing your first event!

You could have your registrants go through registration to purchase the On Demand version of your event and then include the link to the webinar/session in the confirmation email or on the confirmation page (or both!).

Hey Shelly:  Welcome to Cvent! Are you hosting the webinar somewhere already? If so, you can easily do a single page sign up form and then send an email or have a landing page load with a link to where to access the webinar, that's what we tend to do with events.

    Hi Shelly,

The suggestions above are pretty good already, but here's one more:
    - Set an event up that's for people to buy the recording
    - Insert the link to the recording, or embed the recording directly on the confirmation page, or on a post-registration page

This is assuming you are using Flex, but should be doable in Classic too!

    Cheers,

    That's awesome! congrats!
You could have the video of the live event hosted somewhere that requires a password to access it, and when the purchase goes through an email is triggered to be sent with the instructions on how to access the video.

Thank you for the many helpful suggestions. I have made sure the link is only available in the confirmation email. What I'm really trying to figure out is do I need to copy the event site, so that I can update the fact that it's on-demand, versus the time and date that are listed, etc. Or, do I just make those changes to the original event and then re-open the site?
