I need to create a code of conduct for our upcoming virtual conference and am wondering if Cvent has drafted one that can be used as the framework and can be tweaked. Or if anyone on this forum can provide a link to a code that can be shared and used, that will also be helpful. Thanks!

I did not find one on Cvent, but have found looking on college and university websites to be very good examples that I can build off of, there are some great ones that are already put in place. I see that you are a part of UT. Do they have a code of conduct for students? No need to re-invent the wheel and I think it helps to know of some that are already working.
    I hope this helps!

    Hi Monica,

Here's the code of conduct we use for all of our events, both in-person and virtual:

This event is intended to honor, educate and entertain our best producers, and in order to make the experience as pleasant and rewarding as possible for everyone, anyone engaging in disorderly or unruly conduct at any time during this event may, at [Company Name]'s sole discretion, be excluded from the remaining events and activities and be asked to leave.

    I hope this helps!

Ours has more specificity and is universal.

Code of Conduct: Our event is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, national origin, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), veteran or marital status, or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any event venue or platform, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. Event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the event organizers.
