    We contract 4 hotel properties for our annual sales meeting and obviously everyone wants to stay at the host hotel which has the largest room block.  Once we launch the registration, the hotel block at the host hotel fills up in less than an hour.  This upsets a lot of people who miss registering within an hour of receiving the registration.  We say first come, first serve!  

    Currently we have the session selection before the hotel request, which they are honestly not even focusing on because they want to get to the hotel request ASAP so they get the host hotel. 

    Anyone else run in to this?  Have any recommendations on how to manage/ set back rooms for VP's that are included in the registration, etc.?

    Good morning, if you're already utilizing the hotel request form and programming all 4 hotels into it you can then assign certain hotels to certain registration types. This will limit who can register for which hotels. If you have a specific registration type for VP's then I'd recommend holding back rooms in your block and either manually adding them later or even creating a specific room type for just them.
