    Hello all,

    Is anyone else receiving multiple fraudulent RFP's?

    I just received my 4th!

    We are sorry to hear that The Alfond Inn has encountered this multiple times, and for the disruption it may be causing. If you suspect that a lead is fraudulent or a spam lead, please alert our Customer Support Team right away. Cvent can remove any suspicious accounts to ensure this does not occur in the future.

    The current business environment due to COVID-19 has caused an increase the number of socially engineered phishing attacks around the globe. Cvent takes these threats seriously and is actively exploring options to safeguard this process further against these bad actors. As an immediate response, we are:

    • Suspending and/or removing suspicious accounts.
    • Removing the ability to add attachments for planners that have not been vetted and that we do not have a current relationship with.

    As a reminder, Cvent will never ask for your login credentials in an email or direct you to another link or service where you are required to input other login credentials or personal information. Please also follow best practices for suspected phishing attacks such as using multi factor authentication for your email.

    We will keep our customers updated as we release new safeguards. Currently, please do not respond or engage in any manner with the suspected RFP and alert our teams immediately.
