I am wondering if anyone is aware of any direct way or workaround to be able to "tag" their registrants in some way based on how they answer a question in registration?
Our organization identifies and separates our constituents
internally by "region" (northwest, southwest, central, etc), each region being a collection of counties.
Externally, however, knowing that "region" is somewhat ambiguous, we simply ask our registrants which "county" they are in. Is there any way to AUTOMATICALLY tag registrants, as they register, with their region based on which county they identify? They currently identify their county through a custom contact field formatted as a drop-down. I am ultimately trying to avoid making them identify and select which region they are a part of themselves.
I am open to creative solutions. So far, the closest workaround I could identify was:
1. Internal Information - but this requires manual input/import
2. Contact Groups - which either requires manual input/import, or access to Appointments, which we don't have.
3. Seating Assignments - requires manual input/import
