Hi Laurie,
Publishing is not the same as launching your event. Publishing allows you to make your draft visible in a preview/updates the latest version of the site to what you have on the backend in the site designer. It will not launch your event or make it go live if your event is still in test mode, but it will push your latest changes live to your test site for you to view on the front-end.
Launching your event is entirely separate from publishing within the site designer and launching the event is always a manual action taken separately. You can launch your event when ready to move out of test mode on the Overview page of your event by clicking on the "Launch Event" button or by going to Event Details > Event Status > Launch Event.
Launching Your Event - walks through launching your event when you are ready!

Thank you. I'm still building the event, and not ready to go live with registration. I had seen the link you shared, but I still can't tell if "Publish" will make the event go live. It seems like there has to be a way to see your changes while still in test. Can you clarify? Thanks!

Hi Laurie,
As Jenn mentioned, make sure that you publish your changes from within the site designer on the backend to push them live to the site. If you just "save" on the backend, it saves a draft of your work on the backend in the site designer but doesn't push any of those changes live on the front-end.
What is the difference between Save and Publish in the Site Designer?

Hi --
I'm new to Flex. I thought I removed the countdown clock in the site designer. When I go into site designer and look at all my pages, it's gone. But when I preview my event, IT'S STILL THERE.
How do I make it go away for good?
