Hello everyone, we are excited to be posting the last edition of the Huddle of the Week discussion for 2021!

We are all in the holiday mood and all set to welcome the new year. We all experienced this year that event planning is incomplete without the attendee engagement strategy. Be it a hybrid, virtual or live event format, we couldn't agree more that each of these formats requires unique engagement ideas. And engaging the audience is no piece of cake owing to the technical challenges during virtual events or the struggle to deliver bespoke experiences during hybrid events, and so on.

As we wrap up another year of learning, share your thoughts on the questions below –
    • How do you plan to approach audience engagement strategies in 2022?
    • Share any tried and tested engagement tactic that has worked wonders for you in 2021.

So, get your opinions rolling in the comment section below and we wish all the amazing community members, a very Happy New Year! #HuddleoftheWeek #VoiceIt

We will be upgrading to Attendee Hub and Cvent Studio, so we're hoping to really jazz up the look and feel of our live webinars - a more polished, upscale experience for our attendees.

Most of our webinars provide continuing education credit, so our attendees must pay attention by answering polling questions in order to receive their CPE - so they do tend to stay more engaged than perhaps the typical webinar.

    • How do you plan to approach audience engagement strategies in 2022?
      • We are going to look more closely at our virtual options and work on our Zoom integration. Based on organizational direction of webinars and educational series we may look closer at the Attendee Hub option for a one stop shop for our organization to see what webinars are out there.
    • Share any tried and tested engagement tactic that has worked wonders for you in 2021.
      • Our team was completely on board with learning new tools and options of how to do meetings and events, which is something that could have been a hurdle for some teams.

    • How do you plan to approach audience engagement strategies in 2022?
    • We'll continue to focus on virtual event engagement by adding interactive features (polls, live Q/A, etc.) and consistent pre- and post-event followup
    • Share any tried and tested engagement tactic that has worked wonders for you in 2021.
    • We've given attendees an "assignment" or question to consider prior to the event, so that when they attend they not only have an idea of what the topic is but they are prepared for tailored engagement during the session.
