I'm just needing assistant with one more item, and then I believe I can push out my event. When testing the "Add to Calendar" functionality, it opens correctly, but it is including my Font Codes at the beginning and ending of my message. How do I eliminate or hide these?

Have you checked with the Cvent support/development team? They're great at stuff like this.

it sounds like you might be missing a piece of HTML or CSS code - the open bracket or the close bracket. However, unless you specifically tweaked the HTML code.. I don't see how this would have happened. You might want to submit a ticket to have Cvent tech support check it out. Below I've bolded what might be a culprit if it's missing from HTML code:

    <font size="3" color="red">This is some text!</font>

To add to @Lori Wildman's suggestion, sometimes you have font that is in the same color as the background - like white on white, and when it is converted to another object, the font by default becomes a visible color (usually black) and can show up unexpectedly. Try highlighting an entire field - that puts a different color background on the palette and you might find rogue text!

In my experience, there are few fields in Cvent that accept coding. You'll most likely need to remove any tags around the text you want to display.

You should definitely submit a support ticket for this. This is a bug as the "Add to Calendar" feature doesn't do well with anything that isn't plain text. I think we found that different email clients and versions of outlook render the text of the "add to calendar" different.

I have the same issue happening, and my support ticket has been open for quite a while now. Still waiting on further updates. I'm sure if you report it, that will help push it along for us already experiencing this!

In the meantime, the best thing to do is to change your "Add to calendar" content to plain text or remove that content altogether. We moved any information that would be in the "Add to calendar" to the registration confirmation email in the meantime.

Thank You.  I was able to contact someone through the support system, and they were able to fix the issues.

Make sure you are editing your type in the html side, not the preview side. and make sure all <> are closed
