    Hello - 

    We are beginning to use the Zoom integration with Cvent, and having followed the steps to turn off event emails and select Yes to 'Send Confirmation with Zoom URL'. When we do this, the confirmation is never sent to the attendee, and it appears they are not registered for the event in Zoom.

    When we leave the event emails on, the custom data tag with the Zoom link takes them to the Zoom webinar page, and prompts them to register again.

    Has anyone experienced this, and explain what I am doing wrong? Ideally, we want a personalized link to be sent to each registrant where they click it and it takes them directly into the Zoom Meeting/webinar without further registration (and then eventually information passed back to Cvent about viewership/participation on the day)

    ​You want to select yes to send confirmation with zoom url as you have, but counterintuitively, we were told to leave the confirmation email set to inactive - build it but set active to no. Also, make sure that the event in zoom does not have any required fields, beyond what is set up to come over from Cvent (likely name and email address). If it is looking for an answer to another required question that isn't coming from cvent, the process won't complete.

    Thank you for this! I have set it up as you have suggested, but will certainly check in Zoom about required fields and turn off any that may be stopping the process! Appreciate your help - and thank you!

    Hi Jane - 

    The way I got it to work was to:

    1. Turn on event emails, but not include the Zoom link in the confirmation. Instead, I put a note that said Zoom links will be shared closer to the event date.
    2. Turned on Event Reminder, and used the data tag (C-Answer: ZoomJoinURL). This answer is pulled directly from the Internal Information, which is where the integration puts the personalized zoom link for each attendee.

    This I think is a workaround, as the standard way of turning off Event Emails and turning on 'Send Confirmation with Zoom URL' from the custom questions did not work for us.
